The Lind Boracay boasts a 5-star status in what is practically known throughout the world as one of the best beach destinations there is. Designed by renowned Filipino interior designer Manny Samson, the hotel’s contemporary design aesthetic exudes nothing but class, elegance and luxury. Although relatively new to Boracay shores, The Lind has already been raved by many vacationers to the island. And right after our short yet sweet getaway here, we weren’t surprised why.
From seeing how our room was perfectly situated for the most spectacular sunset viewing to having our glorious meals at their specialty restaurants – everything here was just perfect! The personalised services and top-tier facilities only added to our excitement over this extremely chic resort, which aptly brands itself as a “coastal luxury”, something that would go perfectly with any couple’s dream wedding or a family’s coveted beach getaway.
With its first-class amenities, not to mention the stunning infinity pool that is one of its kind in the island, stylish modern rooms and suites, and impeccable hospitality, The Lind Boracay is the epitome of luxury living at its finest, and we could not wait to spend yet another memorable holiday here with the special people of our lives.
The Garden Room covers floor areas that range from 45 to 64 sqm, bigger than the most basic rooms in other hotels of its class. You may choose to cosy up on a king bed or twin beds if you have a travel companion. As the name of the room suggests, expect to be rewarded with unblocked views of the garden and even the pool area right from your very own balcony.
The Sea Room is a real treat for those who love nature and scenery. Imagine waking up to unobstructed views of the azure blue waters and iconic Boracay seascape. This is what you will get from this elegant 46 sqm room which is stylishly accented with contemporary decors and furnished with a king bed and a day bed for maximum comfort.
Any beach lover would love this beauty of a room. Measuring 52-67 sqm and set on both the Lower and Upper Ground Floors of the property, the Beach Room has the kind of close access to the beach that the guests would want for a hassle-free walk down the island’s famous beach. It is equipped with a bathtub, a king-sized bed and a day bed to offer guests the rest and relaxation they so deserve.
For people who crave for spaciousness and memorable vistas, this room will give you the needed space and comfort you always look forward to in hotel accommodations. Choose between the 71-83 sqm Garden Premier Room and the 77-101 sqm Sea Premier Room, and enjoy the exquisite room facilities such as a king bed, a huge wardrobe, comfortable work area, and a spacious bathroom. But what we love most here is the fantastic balcony that is bigger than the ones in most city apartments. Get ready for outstanding views of either the garden and the sea, whichever you prefer to wake up to, on your mornings in Boracay.
You know what’s better than a room with a garden view? A room with its own private pool! Enjoy some semblance of seclusion and intimacy as you dip in your own private pool. As the room is located on the ground floor, you’ll have easy access to some of the resort’s in-house facilities including the Fitness Center, Kid’s Club, the Tartine and Crust restaurants, and The Spa.
Have a VIP experience if you opt to stay in one of only TWO rooms in this category. With its very own dipping pool and huge, scenic balcony, the Sea Room with Pool makes for a romantic venue for a couple getaway. Imagine catching the stunning sunset and taking in the beauty of Boracay’s seascapes with your special someone right from your own private patio. Ahh, is there anything more romantic than this?
If all the above categories still don’t match up to your dream Boracay getaway, which we highly doubt, you can always go straight to booking the Presidential Suite, the top of its kind in all of the island. At 227 sqm, it is a true haven of all things luxurious and stylish. It features a master’s bedroom and an extra bedroom, living and dining areas, a 65 sqm balcony with a day couch and sunbeds, and a dipping pool. All these high-end facilities are spacious enough to be enjoyed with the rest of your family and friends. And, for the perfect and unparalleled view of Boracay’s White Beach, the Presidential Suite is undoubtedly the best place to be.
Depending on what time of the day it is and what you’re craving for at that particular time, look no further as The Lind’s three in-house dining establishments can surely give you gustatory satisfaction.
For breakfast, head over to The Lind’s all-day dining restaurant, Tartine, where you can have your fill of Asian or Western favourites at the buffet. If it’s classic beach dining you want, go to Crust, which is popularly known for its handmade pasta, pizza, roasted meat and seafood. Lastly, there is +36, named after Boracay’s telephone area code, which is especially perfect during evening eats and drinks because of its cozy ambience. Among its bestsellers are the tapas and homemade ice cream. If you prefer using the space to stand by for the much-awaited sunset, this lobby lounge offers an afternoon tea set so you can watch the sun go down in style. If dainty cups of tea aren’t your ‘cup of tea’, order some of The Lind’s own hand-crafted cocktails, which fuse Filipino ingredients to some of the world’s most famous libations.
Incidentally, all three restaurants use only sustainable ingredients sourced locally and internationally.
The resort’s in-house spa, The Spa Wellness, is not just any ordinary spa – it follows the country’s leading wellness brand and offers 5-star spa services with signature massages and treatments that are well executed by their trained therapists. Guests can choose to enjoy these services in the exclusivity of their own room, at the pool sides, or inside the spa facility itself. That’s what you call personalised, quality service!
Even in an island that is all about relaxing and having an uninhibited time, the more active travellers can still get in shape at the hotel’s Fitness Center. Open daily from 6am to 10pm, the Fitness Center has all the equipment you need for a total body workout during the most fitting hours of the day. On its shores and nearby stations, you can also take part in other sea activities like parasailing, banana boating and flyfishing.
Walking further along or away from the shore, you will want to experience the island’s hip and active tourist beachside activities including getting a henna tattoo, having your hair braided, and even partying the night away at any of the open bars that line the beach.
