The Hotel

Utmost comfort within a beautiful boutique hotel

Our visit to Naumi Hotel Singapore near Bugis MRT was nothing short of breath-taking. As we pulled up to the award-winning boutique hotel, we were greeted with an exhilarating spray-painted graffiti artwork of a policeman and a car. As with many pieces of art in the hotel, it was specially-commissioned to give the hotel both a vibrant and sophisticated look. On the adjacent side of the building, a unique urban plant art installation decorated the length of the hotel’s front. Looking around, Naumi’s modern exterior immediately separated itself from the traditional shophouses of the vicinity.

A short walking distance from both City Hall and Bugis MRT stations, the hotel is right within reach of Singapore’s shopping belt, yet situated away from the noise of the city. Naumi’s cosy and convenient location was undeniably an enticing factor for our choice of stay. Read our full Naumi Hotel Singapore review to know more about this hotel in Singapore near Bugis MRT.

The Rooms

A perfect mix of style and comfort

There are four different types of rooms in Naumi - Habitat, Patio, Oasis, and its famous designer-inspired suites. Every room has a well-stocked pantry, complete with complimentary in-room refreshments and a Nespresso machine.

For the tech-reliant, each room has an Apple TV as well as complimentary high-speed WiFi. Also, we didn’t need to fret about leaving our chargers at home - on the desk, there was a bunch of different mobile phone chargers. Apart from that, this hotel in Singapore also has a couple of Nintendo Switch sets available upon request that kept us entertained.

SUITES
Gabrielle & Camillia

The theme of Naumi’s suites are inspired by two designers – Coco Chanel and Andy Warhol. Our favourite suite would definitely be the Gabrielle and Camillia ones inspired by Coco Chanel. It had an elegant monochromatic theme, which added to the room’s classiness.

SUITES
Eden & Nirwana

On the other end, the Eden and Nirwana suites rooms are a dramatic splash of colour with quirky furniture. With only four of these suites in the building, you can be sure to indulge yourself in some exclusive pampering!

Apart from the facilities common across all rooms in this hotel in Singapore, the suite rooms also offer a newly in-placed Google Home e-concierge service. We could find out about attractions and travel routes from Naumi just by speaking into the device. Fun fact: Google Home can also be asked to play your preferred song. All you have to do is to state the genre, artist or song title!

OASIS

Entering the Oasis room was like stepping into a modern paradise. The room was stylishly designed to provide a much-needed respite for our holiday. The whole place is extremely spacious and has a partition for the bathroom at the back. The bathtub looked so inviting, we swear it was beckoning us to take a long and relaxing soak!

PATIO

The Patio room is the classic definition of blissfulness. It was decked out in warm and earthy colours which instantly made us feel very much at home. What’s special is its private deck that was topped off with a comfortable cushiony couch perfect for a lazy day in!

HABITAT
For its compact size, we half-expected a rather cramped room - a common sight of many other boutique hotels in Singapore. However, upon entering the Habitat room, we were pleasantly surprised with its spaciousness and its smart design. One of the room’s distinctive features was the island sink area which doubled up as a counter for us to get ready. The savvy play of space and multi-utility furnishing definitely quelled all our unfounded worries. Adding on to the comfort of the room was a luxurious king-sized bed which we immediately gravitated towards. Once we sunk into it, we had such a difficult time getting up! Alongside the warm lighting and earthy tones, it cemented our relaxing stay at Naumi.

Things To Do

Pamper yourself with an exclusive holistic experience

1.
Admire the City Skyline

We couldn’t wait to visit Naumi’s acclaimed and Instagram-famous infinity pool, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. What better way to relax and rejuvenate than taking a dip in the glistening rooftop swimming pool that overlooks the beautiful Singapore city! There’s also a poolside bar that serves refreshing drinks all day. As the sun started to set, the inviting sight became even more picturesque. The unobstructed view of the concrete jungle from this hotel in Singapore was definitely an unforgettable one.

2.
Break a sweat in the Fitness Room

Naumi's gym is nicely spread over three levels, with two cardio rooms on the 5th and 7th floors, and a weights room on the 6th floor. The state-of-the-art equipment is topped off with iPhone docking stations for an even satisfying workout. Additionally, it's opened 24/7 so fitness junkies can hit the gym anytime they want to!

3.
Enjoy contemporary Indian dining at Table by Rang Mahal

The hotel’s restaurant, Table by Rang Mahal, serves Indian cuisine with a contemporary touch, as well as some Western favourites developed specially to give Naumi’s guests a unique and delicious dining experience.

Besides a healthy continental buffet, Table highlights its executive set lunch priced at S$20++, available from 12-2.30pm daily. The food served here is simply mouth-watering, you just have to try it for yourself!

4.
Indulge in the Happy Hour '1 for 1' offer

Besides offering heartwarming food, Table also doubles up as a great place to chill with drinks. We visited during their Happy Hour (3.30-6.30pm daily), and were pleasantly surprised to receive our first drink for FREE – all guests who book directly get to enjoy this, so do take note. On top of that, Table has a Happy Hour ‘1 for 1’ offer where – yep, you guessed it – drinks are buy 1 get 1 free! This applies to House-pours only which includes selected house wines, beers, soft drinks, coffee or tea. What a great way to spend the late afternoon!

Fun Facts

1.
The hotel has a private floor

The third level of the hotel is dedicated to offer extra privacy for its guests. With an extra glass door at the lift area, the corridor is only accessible to those who are staying on the floor.

2.
There are cheeky quotes all around the hotel

Rooms and common areas are filled with flirtatious messages that seem to be spoken by Naumi herself. The most prominent one would be the large “follow me” sign at the lift lobby. How many do you think you can find?

3.
The staff uniforms are specially designed

During your stay at Naumi, be sure to check out the staff’s uniform. As with the art pieces and furniture of the hotel, the fashion-forward attires are also specially designed to fit the sophisticated vibe of this hotel near Bugis MRT.

Along the same street as Naumi Hotel Singapore near Bugis MRT, we found two stalls selling one of Singapore’s most liked dishes. Zheng Swee Kee and Sin Swee Kee both have their avid supporters loyally claiming one over the other. So why not give both a try and see which side you’re on!
