Durian fans now have another reason to visit Coffee Lounge* at Goodwood Park Hotel: the newly-launched ‘Bibik Santan D24 Durian Dessert’; an indulging dessert soup of epic flavour proportions.
Based on a heritage Peranakan Durian Santan (coconut milk) recipe specially taught to the hotel’s chefs by a true-blue Nonya Bibik (Peranakan term for aunt), this in-house version boasts authentic flavours from Pandan (Screwpine) leaves as well as Gula Melaka (Palm Sugar) – quintessential ingredients in Peranakan sweets – and a carefully-guarded cooking process.
This dessert will be available on an ongoing basis for lunch and dinner at Coffee Lounge*.
