Furama Hotel Bukit Bintang stands tall amidst a bustling city. Strategically located at Kuala Lumpur's vibrant Golden Triangle, the city’s commercial, shopping and entertainment hub, Furama allows guests the opportunity to effortlessly discover the capital of Malaysia.
The excellent customer service began the moment we stepped into the hotel lobby. We were immediately greeted by the staff as we were swiftly checked in by the concierge. Throughout our entire stay, all staff members remained extremely attentive to our every need. If making us feel like pampered princesses was their goal, they undoubtedly succeeded. Kudos to them!
Our favourite part of our stay remains Furama’s location. Imbi Monorail was only a 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, allowing us to travel around the city with ease. This is certainly a plus for travellers with children in tow. That and their unique play areas and themed rooms make Furama Bukit Bintang one of the most family-friendly hotels in Kuala Lumpur! Talk about views. The deluxe room encompasses the higher floors of the hotel. As we opened the curtains, we were immediately enchanted by breathtaking views of the city skyline. Our room was extremely spacious and comfy. It also came with daily necessities such as tea and coffee (which we love!). Our favourite, however, would be the 32’ LCD TV, where we happily snuggled under the comfy sheets as we watched our favourite movies.
Charming and elegant, this suite is for you if want to feel like a real life princess. Covering 60 square metres, this lavish suite consists of two separate living and resting areas. If you ask us, that’s a lot of space for just one or two persons! Hello living life in style! The interior is exquisite, with the carpeted rooms painting an extremely chic look. We loved the style of the room — lying down on the comfy king sized bed just made us feel like royalty.
Immerse yourself in luxury. This elegant yet modern suite is definitely one for the books. Guests of the Executive suites are treated to exclusive privileges. One of these perks include exclusive access to the Executive Lounge, where guest can enjoy daily breakfast and evening cocktails. We were spoilt for choice by the extensive spread during breakfast!
Do note that the dress code at the Executive Lounge is “smart casual” and is open to guests aged 12 and above.
This one is for the business traveller. Guests of this room can look forward to premium amenities as well as bird’s eye view of the ravishing city skyline. We recommend admiring the view at night, where you can watch the city go by from the comfort of your room. Executive Club privileges include breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening cocktails at the Executive Lounge.
Guests who book Family rooms can opt for their room to be equipped with child-friendly amenities that include bed sheets and comforters, small play table with chairs, toilet bowl seat cover, small step-stool in the bathroom, and kiddie mug with spoons. Furama ensures that all your little ones’ needs and wants are met!
This room ensures constant connectivity with your loved ones. The family room includes a rather lavish and sizeable living area with two connecting bedrooms. Sleep tight knowing that your family is just a few metres away!
This is perfect for families of three or four — now you can holler at your children anytime! The rooms were equally lavish in design. We were spoilt for choice when picking our room for the night, we just couldn’t decide!
Similar to the Family Room, the Family 2-Bedroom Suite is the room to book for families or friends travelling in groups of four to six. Each room features a living room, a master bedroom, a twin-bedded room that includes large built in wardrobes. The best part? There’s even a kitchenette cum bar that is fully equipped with a microwave oven and minibar fridge. Book this room if you’re looking to serve up some Masterchef dishes for your family or friends!
This is every child’s dream come true. Families can choose from three themed rooms: Castle, Jungle and Underwater. With beautifully painted rooms (with props even!), children and parents alike will get to experience a hotel experience like no other! Each room consists of one master room with a king sized bed, a single bunk bed and kid-friendly amenities. One of them is even equipped with a Pandora’s box console (consisting of retro arcade games) for the children to play.
We love seeing how dedicated Furama is to provide the ultimate holiday for children. It’s not everyday we see hotels cater that much to children!
Do note that this room can only accommodate adults and two children below the age of 12.

Tourist attractions and shopping malls such as Berjaya Times Square, and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur are well within reach, letting you shop till you drop, which was what we did!
As we were located in the heart of the city, there were nearby attractions we found ourselves visiting when we had spare time at night. The area is dotted with restaurants, and the nightlife is varied with live music, open-air rooftop bars, and posh clubs.
And if you’re thinking of going further out, there are many vibrant tourist spots around the city that are worth your attention. There are also a couple of Instagram-worthy spots such as Batu Caves, Forest Eco Park, Putra Mosque, Thean Hou Temple and even the Art Street in Bukit Bintang. Be sure to bring your cameras as there are plenty of photo opportunities there! It’s time to look good for the ‘gram.
