It definitely made getting that perfect tan by the poolside a lot more enticing. Combining style and functionality, each room evokes a contemporary cabana vibe with its nature-centric minimalist details, subtle hues, and comprehensive facilities.

This Bali hotel room is a study in sleek simplicity. The subtle light hues on the walls are relaxing, while the plush king-sized or twin bed and the 42-inch LED screen will help you unwind. Bask in the Bali sunshine coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which is right beside the working area! Take advantage of unlimited internet access, iron and ironing board and minibar. We enjoyed playing our favourite tunes with the Bose iPod docking station, while relaxing under the rainforest shower inside the marble bathroom. ng splendour, it’s the perfect nest for the solo traveller.

Ever dreamed of waking up to a plunge pool that’s just a few steps away? Well, in this The Stones – Legian, Bali room, you can do just that. We had quite the Bali retreat thanks to this one! After a good night’s sleep on our comfortable beds (you can choose between king-sized and twin beds), the view outside our window makes for a great day-starter. And yes, there’s nothing like breathing in the fresh air while taking a dip in your balcony pool, which overlooks the main pool below. Now, all you need is a tall glass of fresh fruit shake!
The Stones – Legian, Bali Deluxe Corner room interior features a minimalist design with some cabana inspiration, thanks to the polished wood furnishings. Don’t know where to stay in Bali that has hefty space for a group of three or four? Then we’ve found the right room for you! Aside from the cushiony king-sized bed, there’s an additional rollaway bed in the living area. Enjoy lazing around with some music or the 42-inch LED TV, while perched on the bed or the couch, you choose. There’s also the marble bathroom with a separate shower room and bathtub to further give you that pampering you deserve!
The more space, the better — and the Junior Suite proves just that. This one-bedroom suite features a king-sized bed and a separate spacious living room. With two additional rollaway beds, you can fit a group of five here! In between touring Bali, you and your loved ones can simply gather around in the living area while watching TV or enjoying some surround-sound music. We definitely love a good bonding-conducive Bali hotel room!
The one-bedroom Deluxe Suite is all about maximum comfort, paired with sleek design elements and top-notch amenities. Both the bedroom and living room have ample space, while the marble bathroom has both a rainforest shower and a bathtub. Though if you’d rather take a dip outdoors, there’s the plunge pool overlooking the hotel's oversized pool. Enjoy the great combo of verdant and azure scenery, while basking in the warm Bali sun.
How many hotel rooms have you been to that has a tub right on the balcony? Not many, we assume. Well, we got to experience just that in the Pool Suite. It was quite the invigorating stay, thanks to the spacious balcony with its own bathtub and an outdoor sofa, offering sweeping views of the hotel. Not to be outdone though, the bathroom has its own shower and tub as well. But if you want to enjoy an outdoor soak while enjoying the privacy of your room, the balcony also has curtains to give you just that!
Of course, we’ve saved the grandest and most luxurious for last. At 109 sqm, the Autograph Suite will easily make you feel right at home. Kick back and watch a movie or two in the living room, or head out to the balcony to enjoy the sea breeze. But for a truly sublime experience, make your way up to your very own rooftop infinity pool! Come here to fully bask in the sun, and then watch as it sets down amidst a breathtaking view of the ocean. Honestly, we found it quite hard to leave The Stones – Legian, Bali after a fantastic time in this suite!

Sunset and romance? Sounds rather cheesy, we know — but hear us out! While sunset rooftop dinners are far and plenty, have you ever tried a dining experience at a helipad? Probably not, but here at The Stones – Legian, Bali, you can soon cross that off your bucket list! Meanwhile, The Secret Pool also has some interesting activities, whether it’s for couples or families. Every day from 5pm to 7.30pm, they hold a Sunset Secret session, where we had quite a good time unwinding while watching the sun go down.
Just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean you have to skip out on workout time! No excuse to miss out gym day, thanks to the 24-hour Gaia Gym. Unless you’re tired from surfing or walking around all day, then by all means, take a break. The Stones – Legian, Bali also offers classes on Balinese dance and yoga for those who want to try something new! Though if you prefer some overall rejuvenation, the Celestine Spa offers head to toe treatments and beauty services for maximum leisure.
For parents with young children, there’s the Jasper Kids Club that has fun daily activities for your tiny tots. Looking forward to discovering something new while on vacation? There’s also a Melukat Ceremony, which is a traditional Balinese ritual of cleansing the body, both spiritually and physically.

You can either enter for only IDR 300,000+ per person (as Beverage Credit) or even rent the Secret Pool for a fee starting at IDR 1,500,000. We found this Secret Pool on top of the Presidential Suite! We heard it’s also a lovely place to have a sunset picnic or a romantic rooftop dinner!
Children aged four and older can have a great time in this playroom without an adult companion! Those below age four must be accompanied by parents or take babysitting service. Either way, their facilities are surely something your tiny tots will enjoy. Rates per kid start at IDR 100,000 per hour.

Book NowThe Stones – Legian, Bali is only about 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Guests can reserve a hotel shuttle service in advance or take a taxi. Taxi counters are found right outside the terminal after customs. If driving, head South on Jl. Ngurah Rai, turn right towards Jl. Kemayoran, as well as the first right onto Jl. Kemayoran. Take the 1st left onto Jl. Kemayoran, continue onto Jl. Dewi Sartika, turn left onto Jl. Kartika Plaza, turn right to stay on Jl. Kartika Plaza. Continue straight onto Jl. Bakungsari, turn left onto Jl. Pantai Kuta, continue straight for 0.5 miles destination and stay on the right till you see The Stones – Legian, Bali.
Make the most out of the minimal crowds and lower tides. It’s like the chill, low-key middle child between touristy Kuta and trendy Seminyak — and we’re all for it! In between swimming and exploring local shopping spots, opt for a sunbed or beanbag underneath the colourful parasols. Sit back and relax as you wait for the golden hour. If you have kids with you, they can even run around and play because the space is wide enough! Then at sunset, you can take a stroll along the shores or simply enjoy a yummy fruit shake as you take in the gorgeous view.
Head over to Kuta Beach, which is just a 20-minute drive away. Many globetrotters and locals say it’s the most famous among all the Bali beaches! The sandy surface underneath the waters makes it an ideal (and relatively safe) surfing spot for beginners and experienced surfers alike. Though if surfing isn’t your thing, we recommend checking out Waterbom Bali! It’s the largest waterpark in Asia with many adrenaline-pumping activities for all ages. From high-altitude drops, twists and turns to exciting speeds, you’re definitely in for a thrill!
Don’t forget to visit the local Legian art markets for one-of-a-kind souvenirs! Not only can you score interesting finds, but you’ll also get to take in the creative spirit of this sunny paradise. From wood carvings, batiks, Balinese jewellery and accessories to even local kitchenware — make sure to bring home a piece of Legian with you! For a wider selection, there’s the Beachwalk Shopping Centre in Kuta. You can find various international brands in this beachfront mall. If you want to take a quick break from the island life, this is the place to be!
We love how the Legian food scene has a healthy mix of mid-range restaurants, upscale diners, and affordable local warungs. Whether you’re craving local dishes or international cuisine, there’s something for everyone. La Monde Restaurant offers great authentic Indonesian food — some locals claim they have the best satays and spring rolls in Bali! Alternatively, there’s Warung Kolega if you want to have a legit local meal. We had fun trying out their Javanese-style ‘buffet,’ where you point at your preferred freshly cooked dishes behind a glass window and they serve it right up.
Looking for something on the fancier side? Enjoy exquisite French Mediterranean cuisine in Metis. Meanwhile, Hitana is perfect if you want a five-star dining experience, topped off with ocean views, exotic cocktails, and a fine selection of European and Indonesian cuisine
Even when the sun is down, Bali is still very much brimming with life. From live music cafés, beachside lounges to nightclubs, we definitely enjoyed the vibrant nightlife here! You can find various establishments that are open until quite late at night (or early morning even). Take your pick among different bar/club concepts: foam parties, rooftop pool bars, bamboo cradle-seats, a bar-slash-skatepark, and even a cathedral-looking club!
