True to that promise, the hotel’s diverse services and wholesome facilities are entirely designed and dedicated towards making each guest feel better than when they arrived.
Sometimes work can place a great strain on our bodies, and we’ve admittedly struggled with maintaining a work-life balance and a healthy lifestyle. To our surprise, our weekend stay at The Westin Singapore helped us feel like a whole new person!
It’s hard not to gasp the moment you walk into the lobby because it’s located on the 32nd floor! This is our first time coming to a hotel where the lobby is located so many floors up… interesting! The lobby is lined with floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in lots of natural light.
The hotel overlooks sweeping views of the sea and the surroundings. We absolutely loved the view!
Just look at this creative masterpiece! We happened to look up whilst walking through the lobby, and were thoroughly fascinated by the intricate and abstract design. We came to The Westin Singapore expecting a modern clean-cut hotel, but we were now finding ourselves pleasantly surprised, chancing upon unique details around every corner. What’s next?
Did you know that every room in The Westin Singapore is equipped with a Heavenly Bed? And it sure lives up to its name! Comprising ten layers – yes, TEN – the bed is so soft that you’re guaranteed to fall asleep within seconds. Mmm... we felt as if we were enveloped in a cloud.
Be warned: it would definitely take a lot of determination and grit to get out of this bed in the morning!
Feast your eyes on a heritage view of Chinatown and the bustling streets below from the comforts of your room.
Ah, we sank into the sofa, and watched the sky turn awash with beautiful pinkish orange hues as the sun disappeared into the horizon.
Call us sappy, but we’re a real sucker for sunsets!
That’s not all, the marble bathroom is another wonder altogether – just look at that view! We poured ourselves a glass of champagne and made ourselves a bubble bath… If only we could stay in it forever! We spent an hour, no maybe two, simply soaking in the bathtub and taking in the view... Pure bliss. Towel yourself off after the relaxing soak, and slip into a cozy bathrobe and marshmallow-soft slippers. If you’re not a fan of champagne, make yourself a Nespresso*, on the house!
*Note that the Nespresso machines are only available in the Executive Rooms and Suites.

This classic gastro bar with a contemporary twist is a personal favourite of ours in The Westin Singapore! The rustic and contemporary interior, complete with a black marble topped bar and lush red leather bar stools is so enticing and cosy. You can come here for lunch or dinner, and try out one of the set menus. We heard that the chef is a Canadian who likes hearty stuff, so he created a one-of-a-kind hawker burger with char siew and sambal mayo. Sounds reaaaally SINFUL but so good!

You get to sample different wines before choosing to have a half cup or full cup of the wine of your choice. All you have to do is ask for a wine card at the bar counter, insert the card, take a glass and pick the wine. How innovative is that! We were so intrigued and fascinated by this machine, and it was perfect for people like us who had no idea about which one to choose. Go and try out this unique feature for yourself!
Look at the quaint, beautiful chandeliers above every table at the Lobby Lounge! Have you seen anything like it before? We sure haven’t! These chandeliers are made of clear, glass wine decanters.
Exquisitely designed in different shapes and sizes, the chandeliers add a quirky twist to the ambience of the lounge.
