With so many hotels around, you’d be at a loss as to where to stay in Manila, especially if it’s your first time. While no longer strangers to the city, we tried searching for a hotel that would level up our Manila staycation – a hotel that would give us a uniquely Filipino experience. Thankfully, we found The Legend Villas, a 100% Filipino-owned hotel in Mandaluyong City.
As soon as we entered, the hotel's old-world charm and Fil-Hispanic feature captivated us. It was as if we were being transported back to the Spanish colonial era. We also loved the fact that we didn’t need to go out to taste authentic Filipino food. The hotel’s restaurant, Lola Maria, serves our all-time favourites: adobo, pancit and kare-kare.
Overall, we’d say that we found our second home at The Legend Villas. And we’re not just talking about an ordinary one. The Studio Room is ideal for solo travellers or budget-conscious couples who are looking for a cosy, functional space. Snuggle on a comfy double bed, and keep yourself entertained with the cable TV. There’s even a work table for when you need to complete some work while on staycation.
If you are with a small group, the Deluxe Room is just right for you. It has the same room amenities as the Studio Room but with more space. It also features two double beds for you and your companions to relax on.
Stay in a Villa Suite and enjoy an upgraded version of the already comfortable rooms at this hotel. This bi-level suite has a homey setting perfect for those looking for an extended stay in the metro. It is also complete with kitchen facilities if you want to prepare your own meals. In addition, it has two double beds with spacious living and dining areas. The ample space and luxurious amenities here are great when you have companions or visiting guests.
As the name suggests, this room is ideal for a small team of four people. This Team Room has four single beds and a three-way toilet and bath. You and your teammates would surely enjoy the generous space and fully functional room facilities here.
Pick the bi-level Team Suite if you’re travelling with a relatively bigger team or barkada (circle of friends). Featuring six single beds and spacious living and dining areas, it can comfortably fit a group of six people. On top of all that, the Team Suite also has two toilets and baths, two telephone units and two work tables. With its space and functionality, the entire suite will definitely foster teamwork!
If your group is composed of more than six people, we recommend you go for the Team Suite (8 Beds). This bi-level accommodation can comfortably fit up to eight people with its eight single beds with individual closets. It also has living and dining areas with two toilets and baths, and two work tables. Truly, this room is perfect for seminar participants, business associates, student groups or the entire barkada!

It has a daily buffet and a la carte dining serving sumptuous Filipino dishes. Take your pick from sinigang, binagoongan, adobo, kare-kare, and so much more!
Special occasions must be celebrated in a one-of-a-kind setting! The Legend Villas will give you just that with its Signature Events, a set of specially curated themes for different celebrations. After sweating it out, spend the day swimming or simply relaxing at the pool area. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi if you want to extend your relaxation. The swimming pool, by the way, is only open from 8am to 9pm.
On its 25th Anniversary, The Legend Villas placed a stone marker to commemorate this significant milestone. Here’s an interesting fact! The stone placed was taken from an excavation where the elevator was built.

The Legend Villas is at 60 Pioneer corner Madison Streets, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This hotel near SM Megamall is strategically positioned in the city. It is also a hotel near Ortigas and a convergent point to the central Mandaluyong district.
To reach the hotel, take the MRT to Boni Station. Then, take a jeepney that goes to Boni Avenue. You may also walk for approximately 13 minutes, taking either the Pioneer Street or Madison Street. For more convenience, you may ride a taxi or book a Grab from any part of Manila.

Shopaholics will rejoice because The Legend Villas is a short drive from SM Megamall, EDSA Shangri-La Plaza, Starmall and The Podium. It is also a stone’s throw away from Robinsons Forum Pioneer and SM Light Mall.
