The Oberoi Hotel is a glorious utopia that sits right beside Ku De Ta in Bali. Surrounded by alluring tropical gardens with exotic flowers on all sides, one cannot help but be charmed by its beautiful landscapes. If that doesn’t get you going “Wow!”, this will. The property has top-notch amenities – an open air massage pavilion, gymnasium, tennis court and even a beauty salon!

Situated merely 500 metres away from Ku De Ta and about 9km from Ngurah Rai International Airport, it is in a prime location for anyone looking to experience the best of Bali. Coupled together with excellent service, The Oberoi Hotel boasts 14 villas with private courtyards, and 60 Lanai rooms with a terrace for outdoor dining.

With all these amazing features in mind, we were not disappointed upon arriving here for our holiday. The staff were delightful – dressed in their beautiful traditional outfit, they immediately tended to our bags the moment we entered their grand resort. During our whole escapade here, we were pampered by their excellent service and food. The peaceful atmosphere in the hotel coupled with the bustling nature of the nearby Ku De Ta left us with such a unique Bali experience that we wanted to come back the moment we left!

The Lanai rooms boast a bathroom covered in marble with an exquisite bathtub that was so enticing, we had to use it every night! The morning after, some of us would do yoga in the gardens while the others would relax on the terrace with complimentary Wi-Fi. On top of that, we could enjoy the peace and quiet as both the garden and terrace are completely private and walled off.

We were surprised at how spacious the room was – with each Lanai occupying around 55-60 square metres with your choice of a king-sized Balinese bed or Hollywood twin beds.

For those who desire ocean views, you can choose from the Lanai Partial Ocean View and Lanai Ocean View rooms instead. Equipped with everything mentioned above, the Partial Ocean View rooms offer a scenic view of the Indian Ocean from the terrace. And for the Ocean View rooms, you would have a stunning view of the Indian Ocean from your room AND in your garden.

Featuring villas with thatch roofs, staying in this room category was luxury in its finest form. Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a complimentary bottle of wine. We could hardly leave the Balinese king-sized four poster bed in the morning and we took every opportunity to laze in it. On top of that, we were impressed by the many delights in our villa – an open-air garden, private courtyards, raised dining pavilions and private terrace, all housed within high stone walls.

Choose the Luxury Villa Ocean View room if you prefer to wake up to the gorgeous view of the Indian Ocean instead.

What we loved most here is no other than the private swimming pool right of outside our luxury villa. We jumped in anytime we wanted and enjoyed night swims under the bright stars while feasting on fresh, tropical complimentary fruits from the coffee table. Ahh, if we could only do this every single day.

The epitome of luxury living, we could not stop admiring the details in the room when we stepped in. From the sheer size to the artistic elements of the villa, it truly felt like we were living in a Balinese paradise by the beach.

Located directly on the beachfront, the villa is 400 square metres of paradise living featuring the Indian Ocean. The Villa’s kitchenette made it easy to host dinners added by The Oberoi’s room service and culinary team.

Right after that, there was nothing better than dipping our toes in our 8x5m private swimming pool behind absolutely massive stone walls. To end our fancy night in style, we simply could not resist taking a bath in the luxurious glass walled bathroom complete with sunken marble bath, followed by the best sleep of our lives in the Balinese king-size four poster bed.
