The Hotel

An up-and-coming hotel in Manila for peace-seeking business and leisure travellers

The Hotel-Sunny Bay Suites

Rustic and homey – these were our first impressions of Sunny Bay Suites as soon as we walked into its premises. As avid goers to Manila Bay, we’ve always had high expectations for accommodations based in the area. For one of our recent weekend escapades, we decided to give this 30-year-old property a try.

Sunny Bay Suites just has that laid-back vibe that we wanted, not to mention one of the most accessible views of the iconic Manila Bay sunset.

Strategically located in Manila’s main entertainment and business district, Sunny Bay Suites continues to be a popular choice among working and leisure travellers, particularly Japanese nationals.

We were fortunate to have been able to look at all the rooms before we settled in our own, and we were impressed at how the management maintained their antique charm but with added modern touches. Some rooms in the same category have distinct colour schemes so it felt like we were in a completely different place every time.
