Cosy but strikingly open. We felt instantly enamoured with the gorgeously decorated One Bedroom Studio Pool Villa. The predominantly white design of the room evoked a sense of modernity for us, and the large king-sized bed was a special treat for our weary bodies. Homey yet exuding splendour, it’s the perfect nest for the solo traveller.
In line with the pleasing aesthetic of the Studio Pool Villa, the standard Pool Villa’s interior design gives off a refreshing and luxurious vibe. From the large flat-screen TV to the peaceful lotus ponds enveloping the villa, you can enjoy your stay however you’d like. We were surprised to find the fully furnished gourmet kitchen right in our abode. It proved to be a splendid feature that we took advantage of when we managed to exhaust the menu at The Laneway!
Covering 266 sqm, this villa is the ideal minimalist holiday escape. It has sofas in the living area that open up into the swimming pool. However, our favourite feature of this room would have to be the recliners, where we would lie down after a quick afternoon dip!
This accommodation is a good option for small families or a group of mates on a tropical vacation. It has open-air living and dining spaces with ample room for recreational activities. Of course, the centrepiece of the villa — none other than the swimming pool — provides a refreshing respite safe from prying eyes.
We were floored (pun intended!) by the marble tiling as well as the cavernous wardrobes in all the bedrooms in this villa. The four-poster king beds in each room will assure every one of its guests a good night’s rest. Meanwhile, the picture-perfect outdoor bathtub, which opens into lush greenery, will have you reaching for your phone to post that FOMO-inducing Insta story.
A private, illuminated pool comes attached for the whole family to enjoy, day or night. With the same vibes as the Royal Villa, the traditional Bale Balinese pavilions offered just the right balance of local, artisanal flare and modern creature comforts. The ornamental tropical plant in our ensuite bathroom was a nice touch, too!
A whopping 660 sqm of land sets the stage for this beautiful villa. Upon nightfall, the villa comes to life with romantic lighting that bathes the space in warmth. More than anything, we felt like this small detail really brought out the texture in the wooden decking. Beautiful!
This would be our go-to option if we were definitely set on throwing a lavish party with our family and friends. Tastefully modern decor welcomes you as you step through the heavy front door. Meanwhile, aspiring chefs can show off their skills in the gourmet kitchen. This is our idea of a dream home — who wouldn’t want to live here for the rest of their lives?
The flagship offering of Peppers Seminyak, this 1,050-sqm stunner features everything from a vine-decorated 52-metre swimming pool to a poolside bar. Our favourites were the private outdoor baths and showers attached to each bedroom, giving a unique experience close to Mother Nature.
Tourists flock to Bali to experience its unique cuisine, and The Laneway Restaurant delivers that and more with its menu of Bali’s freshest. Mixing traditional recipes with contemporary techniques, the accomplished chefs will get your taste buds tingling with authentic dishes brought to you with a twist! Afterwards, take it easy by the Pool Bar and have a drink while taking in the soothing view of the rock pool.
The Spa at Peppers Seminyak offers a host of possibilities when it comes to pampering, from its treatments tailored to every individual to the holistic programmes designed to release stress and promote healing. No matter how you choose to give yourself a treat, the spa’s professional staff is fully prepared to give you the rest you deserve!

Peppers Seminyak has clinched their second Platinum Medal for the Tri Hita Karana Award. It is awarded to hotels that have managed to integrate the three concepts of Parahyangan (having a good relationship with a god), Pawongan (having a harmonious relationship between human beings), and Palemahan (having a harmonious relationship between human beings and nature). These help ensure that the affinity between the resort and its neighbourhood, peace with the environment, and balance with the Gods are maintained.
At just under 10 kilometers from Denpasar International Airport and 13 kilometers to Ngurah Rai International Airport, Peppers Seminyak is perfectly located no matter how you plan to get to Bali! Grab a private hire car or a taxi from either airport, and enjoy the sights along the short half-hour trip to the resort. Alternatively, the resort offers an airport shuttle at an additional charge. But do let the staff know in advance for a hassle-free experience!
Petitenget Beach is a mere eight minute trip by foot from the resort, and lacks much of the bustle of Bali’s more popular beaches. Its grey volcanic sand gives the beach a mystical quality, and beach clubs dot the shoreline for the more fun-oriented bunch. Claim a deck chair and soak in the tropical sun with a cocktail in hand, and move to the beat on the dancefloor when the sun goes down. Or, go for a jog in the twilight beside the crashing waves and meditate to the sound of the sea. The fun never really ends by the waterfront here.
Once you are done with the beachside activities, take a stroll up the shore and you’ll come face to face with the Petitenget Temple. The 15th-century Hindu temple is a historical and cultural landmark for Seminyak, and offers a well-deserved escape from the beach activities should you need downtime. Admire its ancient architecture and decor, as well as the tropical jungle surrounding the structure. You can also expect to catch lively religious ceremonies and worshippers setting their offerings down at the beach in front of the temple.
Love catching the waves instead? A treat for intermediate surfers, Seminyak Beach is a chance to enjoy the waves in relative peace. Come early in the morning to catch the moderately high waves, almost double the size of those at Kuta. Then, grab a drink afterwards as a reward for all that hard work.
